Random things...

Today was my last day of summer qtr...thank goodness! That class took alot out of me and glad to have it done! Spent Saturday at my grandparents farm and the weather was beautiful! I love spending time down on the farm and dream of what it would be like to have a farm and a garden and animals...one day!!  Well off to work on garage sale stuff...hoping to have one tomorrow...my first one so we will see how it goes.

Fall Dreamin

Went shopping this weekend and bought some new fall stuff at the Flower Factory...one of my favorite stores for home decor. I am ready to bid summer and the high temps farewell!!  I decided to put up some fall decor and I feel ready for bonfires and pumpkins.

Christmas In June????

Good afternoon! It's a hot one here in Ohio today and I am just trying to keep cool :) The last thing that should be on my mind is Christmas but it is!!   I've been running around doing errands and I went to the mall to stop in at the Bath and Body Works semi-annual sale and they had some Christmas scents very cheap! I got a $20 candle for $4 and I also bought some wallflowers in Christmas scents for $2!!! It got me thinking....is it too early to start planning for Christmas? As soon as lifted the lid to the candle and smelled it...it swirled me ahead to December and cold weather...I love the holidays and winter. The scent I bought was "winter night". To me it would make sense to slowly start preparing for the holidays because they will be here before we know it. To buy gifts here and there, stock up on baking supplies, candles and holiday themed items. I think I am going to start working on Christmas gifts I am making this week. So what do you think fellow bloggers? Is it too early to start preparing for the holidays? When do you start? Throughout the year or last minute?

TECUMSEH!!!

Good Morning blogging world! I know I have been bad about blogging but I am still trying to figure it all out. I have spent the last few months visiting blogs and trying to figure out how you all make them so darn cute!! I'm still trying to figure out how to put the list on the side of all the blogs I read...if anyone can help me out please let me know. We had a really great weekend....saturday we took the boys, my mom and my grandparents to see the outdoor drama Tecumseh..it was amazing but such a sad story of a great indian warrior!! I highly recommend the show! Sunday was spent down at my grandparents farm...it was a lazy day spent under the shade trees eating watermelon yummy!!  Well  I am off to try to figure out more about designing my blog.

Lazy Rainy Saturday...

Well its a lazy rainy day here in Ohio. I guess I better break out my winter clothes again highs are supposed to be in the 50s all week and lows in the 30s...crazy..a month ago we had 2 weeks of 70s and 80s!! My wardrobe can't handle all the back and forth.

So we are back to the moving dilemma...the house we were set on was rented out to someone else because of lack of communication. We found another house and now jon is saying he doesn't really want it so Im not sure what we are going to do! I love the convenience of living here in the suburbs but my heart is wanting to be back in the small town setting and close to family. I actually miss living in the country...NEVER thought I would say that but I long to have a farm :)

The weekends just are not long enough...I have so much to do and on top of my usual laundry, housework and getting groceries...I need to go to chillicothe and do a site visit for my Ohio History class...why can't the weather be sunny and warm this weekend??

Hello...I am new to the blogging thing so I am going to give it a try! I find my mind filled with so many thoughts everyday and I need somewhere to write them all down ....so I figured I would give this a shot! Not much to say right now...trying to study for 2 tests I have tomorrow. I need to get that done and then perhaps I will be back to blogland....
