Christmas In June????
Good afternoon! It's a hot one here in Ohio today and I am just trying to keep cool :) The last thing that should be on my mind is Christmas but it is!! I've been running around doing errands and I went to the mall to stop in at the Bath and Body Works semi-annual sale and they had some Christmas scents very cheap! I got a $20 candle for $4 and I also bought some wallflowers in Christmas scents for $2!!! It got me thinking....is it too early to start planning for Christmas? As soon as lifted the lid to the candle and smelled it...it swirled me ahead to December and cold weather...I love the holidays and winter. The scent I bought was "winter night". To me it would make sense to slowly start preparing for the holidays because they will be here before we know it. To buy gifts here and there, stock up on baking supplies, candles and holiday themed items. I think I am going to start working on Christmas gifts I am making this week. So what do you think fellow bloggers? Is it too early to start preparing for the holidays? When do you start? Throughout the year or last minute?
thanks for the nice comment you left on my blog! Yes, we do love it here! I don't know how you handle that heat! I'm absolutely paralyzed when the temp is above 90!! Thankfully we rarely get that hot here...maybe a day or two around a hundred, but usually 70's and 80's!
ReplyDeleteI just bought some Christmas scents too! I don't think it's ever to early to be thinking about Christmas! I must admit I actually listened to some Christmas music last month...prepping my ipod for the coming season!!!
Maybe if you turn on some Christmas music you'll cool off a bit there! In your head anyway!!
